I had unnistalled recently the Logitech setpoint software, and when I reinstalled it (version 4.00.121) i no longer shows my mouse like it did before in the settings. IT won't even detect my mouse. So now I can't have the settings like I want them to. The mouse does work but I just can't customize them to how I had them before. I don't know if this is a newer version of setpoint but how can I get it back to how it was before?
If it's a newer version, then try the old one.
If it's the same version, then uninstall and reinstall it again in Safe mode.

Can't find the older versions on the site.
If you do not have the older version on either a Logitech or a restore CD, then see if you can find it thru Google.
Did you try reinstalling the new version?

I did re-install it. And which version came before 4.00.121?
Did you perform the reinstall either in Safe mode, or after doing a clean boot as described in this link?
