I have Cable internet. I have a router. I have a ethernet cord running to our garage where two computers are. Only one compuer gets internet because there is one cord. Is there a way I can split that one ethernet cord so both computers have internet? Maybe use a hub?

Let me know

Thanks

Hubs are outdated. What you want is a Router. We recommend Linksys products.

He already has a router. You need a switch.

From outward appearances it looks and functions just like a hub, but the way it works makes it much better. I would give you a longer description but i already wrote one here (http://www.pcmech.com/article/elements-of-a-home-network/#Switches).
