All computers have web access, but it seems to go in and out. I have having to hit refresh or re-enter the addresss multiple times before a page loads. Anyone have any ideas?
What does that have to do with switching from DHCP to static?

I don't know, but that is all I changed and then this started. I might have figured it out. I will give it some time, but it seems to be working better.
I changed the DNS servers from the routers IP (192.168.1.1) to the DNS comcast has (which I found on the STATUS page in the router config webpage).
That is what you are SUPPOSED to do.
I thought you were talking about changing the router's front end from DHCP to static. You did not change the router to static, you changed the computer to static.

Yes, I changed the computer to static. The reason I first left the DNS at 192.168.1.1 is because that is what DHCP was doing. At least it looked like it was.
Yes, but if you assign a static IP to the computer, the router DNS transfer doesn't always work.
