Remotely control another computer

What software would I need to control another computer from my home computer? My parents are always calling me with problems about their computer but it's so hard to try to troubleshoot over the phone with them. Also, would I need any other devices to help do this. I have a router at my house but would I need one at their house as well. thanks in advance.

Seconding LogMeIn. I went Pro not long ago...tempted to get LogMeIn Rescue...but we'll see what the demand is ;)
