View Full Version : seamlessly looping a Wav

Is there an audio player out there that would allow me to seamlessly loop a 15 second wav file? I've tried WMP 10, VLC, and QuickTime, but all 3 take a second or two to jump back to the start of the playlist/file, leaving it sounding not at all seamless.
Any ideas?
Thanks :)

How many times do you need it to loop?
Could you just copy the wav and paste onto the end of itself, and just make one long wav file?

In iTunes if you put the WAV file in a playlist by itself and turn on looping it should work. I tried it and it goes to the beginning without a noticeable pause.

It's on-hold music for a phone system.
I didn't get a chance to install iTunes, but it looks like media player classic may do the trick too.

I only have iTunes installed, but I'd imagine my method would work on multiple players.

Have you tried Winamp?
