Hello,

I just wanted to see if this seems to be a problem amongst other comcast subscribers. The wireless setup we have is with a brand new linksys WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router, but there is a noticeable connectivity issue even when casually browsing online. It acts like the internet comes in waves, working great, then hits a wall and i feel like it completely disconnects. Only then it reconnects and catches up really quickly.

I found this interesting, mostly because I experience the exact same problems in a different state with the same internet. Except with a slightly lower quality linksys router. I have called Comcast more times than I care to say, but they are no help at all. Always tell me to power cycle, and get a direct hardline connection to the modem itself. Which is how I know for a fact that Comcast is to blame, unreliable connection even when hardlined to the modem itself. I've even done a system restore to see if that had any affect on the preformance.

I'm about fed up with Comcast, anytime there is any need to have a consistent connection (downloading, games, browsing) the connection overrall feels slower than 56k because of how often the disconnections happen.

Does anyone else experience similar symptoms or if there is anything to do about it any help is welcomed. I'm about to cut all ties with Comcast, horrible customer service and I hate supporting corporate monopolies
