keyboard problem please help

my keyboard on my Asus gaming series types the letter "r" without me pressing on it. sometimes when i type a letter that is in the same column as "r", "r" tends to follow after then it keeps typing. yet when i type "r" itself the letter does not show on the screen. has something been misplaced?

Have you tried a new or at least a different known good working keyboard?

could be dirt in the keyboard, have you tried cleaning it thourougly???

if that does not help, i'd go get a new keyboard, they're not that expensive
