Does anyone have opinions on this monitor:

ViewSonic Value Series VA2226W Black-Silver 21.6" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 static (typ), 2000:1 dynamic (typ) - Retail

Any is welcomed.

Specs look good and ViewSonic is a quality brand. If the price is right, go for it. Check out Samsung and Acer monitors too.

I don't have that monitor, but I do have a Viewsonic 19" Widescreen LCD and I like it a lot. It has no dead pixels and looks very sharp with DVI and D-Sub connections.
