Above link is the items I bought.

Basically atm I believe everything is hooked up, I start it up XFX comes on screen then bios and before you can do anything it shuts itself off. a orange and green light come on when it shuts it self off , and theres always a blue light on.

Is this because of CPU temp, maybe I didn't put the heatsink on right?

Is this something to do with jumpers?

What would alow you to get bios on screen, but then the computer shuts itself off within 10-20 seconds.. I think it might be related to temp.. thats just my hunch.. but I need some help bad this is my first build..

Edit.. I just noticed this mobo only supports 800Mhz DDR2 PC6400 mem sticks.. I think I bought the wrong kind.. dam I let that slip by me. =(

Would that make your computer shut itself down at bios start?

My first bet is the PSU, Ultra's are not good quality, and can cause the problem you are having.. Also if the heatsink is not installed properly that can cause the cpu to heat up and the system to shut down.. You need to do the out of the case build ( this means remove the mb from case) and install bare minimum cpu, psu, 1 stick of ram, and video.. This will help you narrow whick core component might be cause your system to be unstable..Here is a link to good and bad psu, naturally pick one from the good list.. A faulty psu can take out an entire system when it goes...
