Monitor shutting down

I had the problem very intermittant a while ago. Once a week or so, when my pc would load a web page the monitor would shut off. I installed a new hard drive and now it shuts off constantly. Anything I can do other than buy a new monitor? It only does it when loading a web page.

Dell Monitor 19" Probably 5 years old ( or older )

Exact model monitor, please, and what is your resolution, color depth, and refresh rate? What exact model Radeon and what exact model power supply is in the computer?

I want to add that I have had this system for years. At least 4 and have had no issues until recently. The only addition is the new hard drive.
