New laptop, worried about OS

Hi all,

Wow. I haven't posted here in over 2 years!

I just bought an ASUS G2S laptop. It's got good specs and I'm putting in 4 gb of memory. It comes with Windows Vista Home Premium.

I'm a gamer and a PC enthusiast and owning the "Home" version of a windows OS just seems a little "soft" if you know what I mean. Is it worth it to upgrade to Vista Ultimate? If so, how much would this upgrade cost?

Do you have the 64bit version of the OS? If not, your system will not recognize all 4GB. It will show about 3.2GB. Just wanted to point that out.
