Hey
I recently bought Window Vista Home Basic 32 bit upgrade edition for my self built comp and tried to install it on top of Window XP Home. This failed because of compatibility issues. I then used PC beginner to wipe the hard drive. I reinstalled Windows XP and there was no problems. I then went straight to installing Windows Vista. I installed drivers for my motherboard, video card, NIC card, and Realtek audio drivers. This worked for 1 day but my computer started freezing within minutes of booting and logging in.
I'm really at a loss as to how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My computer build is as follows:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA- M55PlusS-3G
Memory: Kingston 2g
Video Card: Nvidia 7600GS
Hard Drive: Seagate 120g
PSU: 500 Watt
