A quick question about HDCP

I have the 216BW Samsung w/ an 8800 GT to goes w/ it. The thingi s I am interested in the HD capability. The 216 spec read that the DVI is HDCP, so does that mean I can just plug it into the 8800 and I will automatically get HD signal and image and wat/ever?


I use the came-with DVI cable from the 216; it is single channel though. Does that even matter?

Yes, you should have HD capability with that setup. HDCP is generally only necessary with equipment like a digital cable box or Bluray player.
