Hi,
I just won a brand new Inspiron 1521 (Dual-Core AMD Athlon 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD) and I love it, but I installed Ubuntu Studio, then decided I didn't like it to much, then deleted it, but my computer wouldn't boot into Vista! I reinstalled, but all the Dell-specific drivers, support, etc. are gone. This means a few things:
1. I don't have any of the apps that came with it from Dell. I don't care about this too much, but it's worth mentioning.
2. My monitor can't get it's full resolution. This is the main thing that pisses me off. Before, I could get up to 1280 x 800, but now only 1024 x 768.
3. The scroll things on my trackpad don't work. This sucks. I liked those.
