Okay - I signed up for this program and everything. So... basically after 3 months of participating they will send me out a copy of whatever program I so choose? Is this how it works? Do I get to keep it for an indefinate amount of time?

That (http://wfp.microsoft.com/FAQ.aspx) seems to be the case. Essentially, you are given a copy of select MS software (Vista, Office, etc.) by essentially waving a part of your privacy during the three month period.
