I bought my wife an HP "something" at Wally-World a few months ago and of course it has Vista on it and no CD's or DVD's. Well, I guess you all know about the "trial versions" of basic crap like WORD on the *&^%$&* things. In the past I have always built our PC's and bought software as needed, so I don't know anything about the buy & try or whatever. I am trying to figure out the best way to go about getting the software upgrade. Using her computer & clicking on upgrade it comes to around $300. Looking on ebay I see Vista Pro Full version at around $300 and then I see Office Pro 07 at around $300, but it has no cd or dvd....I think I'd go for office, but read the add...seems like a scam to me...

How can customers obtain their backup media?
Customers can go to http://www.microsoft.com/office/backup to receive their backup media directly from Microsoft, customer pays for shipping and handling
Beginning in the Spring, customers will be able to download a copy of their media from microsoft.com
Customers can use the Windows Vista Business backup feature to create a system backup
Local System Builder can reinstall Microsoft Office onto the machine with the OPK Master Kit
