I'm getting a new PC rig for christmas and was wondering if this will be enough cooling wise:

The case comes with three fans

1.) 120mm fan (Rear)

2.) 80mm fan (Side)

3.) 80mmfan (front) - Mainly for the HDD's and CD Dirives

- The PC also has a CPU Air Duct allowing cool air to enter into the PC

- Can change the Fan speeds based on internal temapture

I will also have a stock CPU fan and heat sink that comes with my AMD CPU.

I'll have a Vantec PCI - Fan inside for my video card

And of course my PSU will have a 80mm fan in the rear and a 120mm fan on the top

That will be plenty. No worries. :)

Which one is that? All PSUs with a 120mm fan that I've come across have no other fans in them. I've seen PSUs with a 92mm bottom fan and a 80mm rear fan, but never one with a 120mm and a 80mm...unless the 80mm is mounted on the outside of the PSU case.

yea it is mounted on the outside. The large 120mm is located on the bottom and is internally in the case and the rear outer one is the 80mm.

What brand is it? I don't know of any good quality power supply that follows that design. You might want to check to see if it's a good unit or not by looking over this thread. (http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=131195)

Scratch the fan setup...it wasn't what I thought it was. It runs dual 80mm fans.

Just so you know, PC Mech did a review on Ultra power supplies (found here) (http://www.pcmech.com/article/ultra-power-supply-review/2/) and 2 out of 3 units were defective. That's why they're on the Bad List in the power supply info thread. (http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=131195)

Yes I've found and read that article. But it seems that everywhere but here has good reviews on it. Not saying that this site is bad or anything, but for alll I know the testing of the PSU's could've just been coincidence that 2 of the 3 were bad. The PSU has already been bought so i'll guess i'll just have to hope for the best.
