My user folder is TOTALLY screwed up.

I. I have two "Desktop" folders. Whenever I try to delete one, it pops back up.
1.The default path for my desktop is in the one that I don't want (see why in II1)

II. I have two “Documents” folders. One is the one I want, and one is blank, but still reappears
1.The location for my Documents folder (eg. From Start menu, or even if I type
in “C:\Users\Reese Hyde\Documents) is C:\Users\Reese
Hyde\Desktop\Desktop\Desktop\Documents. And this WON'T go away.

Please Help I HATE VISTA SO FAR!!!!!

Thanks,
Reese Hyde

it sounds to me like you have set up more than 1 user

Not sure where the user are in vista but im sure if you delete the extra user you will get rid of the extra folder...

sometimes its not a bad thing to have more than 1 user and actually set each one to private

All I have is one account called Reese Hyde and one Guest account. This is probably the problem, though. A few weeks ago, I had to reinstall Vista and then I moved my backup files back into my User. How do I fix this problem, though?

Thanks,

Reese Hyde

If you don't have anything on their except vista, I would just format and start over.

No, I have a LOT of stuff on their, even though I've only had my computer for about a month. I have all kinds of documents and software that would be nearly impossible to find again.

So... does anyone know how to fix this?
