Is it something onboard that you don't use?

After a little googling research, I'd say it's the game port for your Audigy sound card. I recently added an older Audigy Platinum to my Vista rig because my onboard drivers wouldn't support a 5.1 speaker system. Now my speakers work fine but I have the same Unknown device issue as you. A quick look under Sound, game ports in the Device Manager shows an absence of a Game Port.

A little more searching and it seems someone has created a fix. Originally, MS removed Vista support for this game port in favor of usb devices. Neither Creative or MS had any intention of developing one but it looks like someone has done so independently. I haven't tried this DD so use it at your own risk.
