Need Good Free Hosting Website

I have some mp3 files that I would like to host for free online. Each file is around 50MB and I would like to have enough space for a year's worth (52 files). I had been using freewebs but they are tightening up file size limits. Do you have any recommendations for a good place that I can store these for free?

You might want to go with something like http://www.mediafire.com/, they have a 100MB per file upload limit with unlimited space.

I like the look of the webstie, but I need a way to get a direct link to the files that I upload, not a page on mediafire that lets you download the file. Is there a way to get a direct link to files you upload to mediafire?

Personally I've never used Mediafire so I'm not entirely sure, but if you do a search for 'free file hosting' on Google you'll get plenty of results just like the one I've posted. I've used services like this in the part such as DropBoks, and they work great.

I think the lack of response stems from your criteria of "free". Bandwidth and storage space is not free, any free site will come with strings attached. I'd recommend you check out the vast number of low cost hosts.

50mb times 52 is over 2.5gb, that does not come free. Neither does domain name registration. If all you want is "some" space with the ability to direct link, see what your ISP offers for "personal" webspace. For example, Comcast allows 25mb.

Yep. I get hosting for $6/mo. that gives me more storage and bandwidth than I know what to do with.
