Access Denied

Hey,

When I try to save an image into my pictures with windows vista, i get a message saying that access is denied. not sure how to resolve problem, i just upgraded from xp to vista. any help would be appreciated.

Well, do you use the administrator account? And make sure you set the right of the folder correctly (not read-only, or some other reasons make the folder read-only accidently).

Yeah, I am using the admin account, ant its not a read only. From what I can tell it seems to be a pretty common problem when upgrading from XP to vista. Also for some reason, there is a My Documents folder within the main My Documents folder from the start menu. Not sure how I can fix this and any help would be appreciated.

When I try to save something into my documents it tells me that the location is not available and access is denied. I have been reading about junction points and am pretty confused. Right now the location of the documents folder is C:\Users\user_name\Documents. I had this problem with my other folders as well but I changed the locations and now it works. For example. the music folder went to C:\Users\user_name\My Documents\Music. For the documents folder, I tried to change the location to C:\Users\user_name\My Documents but I get an error and it tells me to change the location. Not sure what I should do here.
