RealPlayer's not making noise

As the title of course implies, realplayer doesnt have a sound output anymore. i dont know what could have coursed this, as its always been fine. i just went to use it the other day, and i havnt had sound since. Iv reinstalled it and everything, and tried using different forms of media to get sound but none of that worked.

i even looked at my firewall rules (and deleted one), and turned bitDefender off, but that had no effect.

Any ideas?

Do you get other sounds?

Might want to try reinstalling sound drivers.

i get no sound whatsoever from realplayer, but through other programs and stuff sound is working fine. windows media is fine, explorer's sound is working, and so on.

its just realplayer doesnt have a sound output anymore. Reinstalling it didnt help

Bloody typical...Its working now. Five minutes after my last post, when it wasnt working

What i done, that cured the fault by act of miracle, was trying an mp3 in real player. somehow that done it. i got sound. and then sound was working for all other medias in real player.
