New Build Config, What you think?

Think about spending around $1200-$1400 gaming rig. This is what I have so far.

XFX nForce 680i LT SLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz Socket 775 OEM Processor
Corsair Dual Channel TWINX 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz
EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked
Cooler Master CM Stacker 830
Ultra X-Finity 600-Watt
Seagate Barracuda 250GB Hard Drive

Thats the basics I have so far. Anyone know a good OS for gaming? Any suggestions would be helpfull. thank you. feel free to e-mail.

For gaming XP pro 32 bit is still the best and most stable.

For gaming I would look into Vista Basic or Premium in 32-bit since a lot of the new games work on Vista only. Starting to see Vista become more stable, so not as much of an issue as it was 6 months ago.
