View Full Version : need help with Trojan dropper agent virus

got this virus in my laptop,it,s a Trojan dropper agent virus .it jumped my security and embedded itself in my security software files at start up.it is also in my operating memory.i have ESET nod 32 anti-virus security but had the older 2.7 verison,upgraded to 3.0.. at start up it,s blocking the attacks but cant get rid of it.have contacted ESET a week ago but have not heard a thing from them. NEVER had a problem like this before! ESET has ALWAYS worked for me.any way to get rid of this thing?

Carryout the prerequisite scans and consider posting a HighJackThis log back here for analysis.

Have you tired booting to safe mode and remove it?

yep twice, nothing .its still in my system.

Might be returning from a temporary file or System Restore. Disable the latter and use something like CCleaner to remove junk files.
