Need help, first time builder.

I just recently bought all my computer parts from newegg and after putting everything together I am having no display on my monitor. It is saying no display signal when I turn on the computer. Everything seems to turn on fine when I turn it on... fans work, motherboard LED light turns on, Case temperature display turns on, but no display on my monitor.

The following are the specs for my pc build:

ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless 590 SLI AMD atx Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane 2.6GHz AM2 Dual Core Black Edition

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel (N82E16820146565)

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad (Black) Power Supply

EVGA 512-P3-N802-AR GeForce 8800GT Superclocked 512MB 256-bit GDDR3

SAMSUNG 206BW Black 20" 2 ms (GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB

LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe

I double checked to make sure everything was plugged in right. Tested monitor on other pc and it works fine. Not sure if this matters but I was usiong the DVI cord to plug monitor directly into DVI output from the graphics card. and I also tried using the DVI to VGA ends to hook it up as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Oh also, not that it matters but I am using the NZXT Lexa Blackline Aluminum Case.

Make sure it's out of the case when you try this.

Also, have you tried pressing the source button on the monitor to see if that helps?
