Hi, id like to know if there are any issues with this build. Im currently upgrading my mobo/graphics card/processor. I had a prebuilt computer that i ordered from alienware (big mistake right there) and Im not satisfied with the performance for the price I paid.
(the ones highlighted in blue are the ones im adding, the rest are current parts I already have:
ASUS P5K DELUXE/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131182) $199
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Retail (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115029) $189
EVGA 640-P2-N829-A3 GeForce 8800GTS SSC 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130305) $364
Seagate 250GB SATA 3g 7200RPM 8MB
Crucial 1GB DDR2 PC5300 x2
NEC 16x Dual layer DVD+-R/W
Windows XP
mainly LF any compatibility issues that may arise as I am completely clueless. Im just gonna have the parts "professionally installed" so Id like to be able to just buy the parts, bring em in, and pick it up.
Also lf suggestions on how I can possibly save money, maybe on a cheaper mobo that wont be much different in quality? This computer is gonna be built for gaming and I want to keep it up to date with all of the games out there atm. I also like to fraps (http://www.fraps.com) while i play video games, if that helps at all on your suggestions. thanks :)
