we have word 2003 and my father isn't very good with it.

how to solve this niggle?

we have a template setup that he fills in as invoices that is read only. how can i stop word automatically creating a new page everytime he happens to tab/slip/ enter/move the cursor below the invoice template?

what happens is when the next page is triggered we end up with a blank page being printed out.

so basically i want to lock the template to 1 page.

image attached and zipped

thanks

It may not be blank, space bar and extra returns are still real to a computer...try using the show / hide function (CTRL + *) to see the document with the usually invisible things like tabs, indents and carrage returns visible. Extra stuff at the bottom can be delted giving you the extra space to enter data into the form fields.

what i want to do is prevent anything being put on the next/blank page in the first place.

if that makes more sense, i know how to get rid off it but 65 year old people seem to have memory problems concerning the solution.

cheers

is the document protected? set up protection to 'filling in forms only' and then no key strokes outside the form fields will be allowed...
