WMP stopped working

Hello Guys,

Two days ago I kept receiving the message:"Windows Media Player has stopped working....." This sucks because every time I try to use my Pen drive the message keep cropping up. I did try anything but unsuccessful. I don't know anyone with a better approach of the issue.

Try reinstalling WMP.

When I try to play a DVD. WMP first starts about two seconds and subsquently a message materialise ''Window media player has stopped working....''
That's it.

Try reinstalling WMP.

No Liambl you can not reinstal WPM. It is a Vista native incorporated package program.

Have you treid windows update?

Did you try a different dvd?

What about playing the dvd in a different program?

Yes Shadowpr, I did try anything possible. The same DVD plays great in Media centre and to some third party software that is installed in my pc, but not to Wmp.
