show pc screen on tv

how can you show your pc screen on tv?

my dad's friend wants his pc screen to be on tv. he said it hooks up to the USB and it's kinda like a projector. i'm not really sure what he's talking about. anyway, i checked newegg and saw some video cards with tv-out output. not sure if that is the one. i just need some insight. thanks.

I don't know of any USB projectors. But the easiest way to go is what you mentioned. Most video cards have S-Video Out that you can use to connect to most televisions. If you have a newer TV, you can also connect using VGA or DVI.
