I am building a comp for the first time...I would like to know exactly what the pluses are and how important PCI-Express 2.0 is. I do plan on playing games and working with hi-res photos and video taken with family camera.

I am willing to spend the extra bucks for MoBo that supports it, if it is worth it and I will utilize it.

Thanks!

Here are the parts for my build...My question is aimed at what MoBo I should go with? I think? Should I swap the MoBo I have below for one that supports PCI-Express 2.0 x 16?

I do not plan on SLI or Crossfire...But I may be adding a TV Tuner Card in the future?

PCI-Express 2.0 is just a bandwidth upgrade so we can have faster video cards in the future. Right now, you would never notice a difference. Plus, PCI-E 2.0 video cards are backwards compatible. I wouldn't worry about it.

Another question...I was just checking out a review on the NV 8800GTS, which card would you go with?

The NV 8800GT or the 8800GTS?

8800gts 512 performs slightly better then the 8800gt. It also costs a bit more though.
