View Full Version : Enabling add-ons in IE7

I've upgraded to IE7, but keep getting advised that add-ons & Active X are not enabled. MS screen advice to close and restart IE7 is rubbish - no difference!
When I go to tools the manage add-ons button is grayed out and cannot be chosen, so I go to tools, internet options, then programs, the manage add-ons there tells me they are all enabled, but when I open any window in IE it tells me right away that add ons are disabled.

Any suggestions please, or is IE7 plagued with further problems?

Hi Basils57,

Try this, right click on your IE icon, goto properties, advanced tab and click on "reset" (under resets internet explorer settings). This may help.
