NF7-S fan not working & cpu error

Hi, I have a couple of problems. I don't know if they are related or not, but I noticed them at the same time. The fan that comes with the motherboard (Abit NF7-S)doesn't work anymore, what would be a good replacement? Also, when I boot up it started saying "cpu is unworkable or has changed" even tho it works fine & I haven't changed anything. The processor is an AMD 2500/333 Athlon XP Barton. Would could that message be about? Any advice is appreciated!

i had a similar problem years back with my nf7-s. if its just old and dusty, radio shack sells one for around 5 bucks. thats what i did and it worked. the fan just provides very little airflow. if youve got great case airflow, youre ok.
