I have a e6300 Conroe.

whats the diffrence between conroe and allendale please?

is one better?

The Allendale C2D processors are the real lower end C2Ds as they don't have 2MB of their L2 cache disabled like the E6300 and E6400 C2Ds. And the FSB speed of the Allendale C2D is 800MHz compared to the 1066MHz FSB of the E6300.

The E6300 is better.
