Disable Google search auto complete ?

All of a sudden Google has started to offer suggestions for
searches in a pull down menu, as soon as a couple of letters
are entered in the search bar. Very annoying !
How can I get rid of that feature ?
These are NOT previously entered searches ie. not history.

I'm not sure if its a function that could be disabled in the firefox settings. But I can say that yahoo was the first to use that feature. I guess google has finally adopted that feature...

Right click on the search box and uncheck the "Show Suggestions" box.

Thanks, I did a few things including Options>Privacy>
Unselect"Remember what I enter in forms and search bar"
and it seems to be Ok now. Maybe it IS history.
Funny how it just started doing that without my having
changed any settings.
