I was playing my favorite game, and this evening it decided to freak out on me and render this:

http://www.teamfortress2fort.com/gallery/item/OMGWTF++C4Cypher+broke+the+game-1188.aspx
http://www.teamfortress2fort.com/gallery/item/OMGWTF+SmerBuicks+head+is+in+a+fire+plane-1189.aspx

can anybody tell me what is going on here? Did I break the internets?

I play Team Fortress 2 at 1680 x 1050 with the recommended settings (high detail, aaX4 etc.)

I would say that looks like a glitch with that game.

I wouldn't think too much of it unless I see it happen again in a different server.

Ditto.

It doesn't look like it's a hardware issue. If you really want to, you can try to "verify game content". I don't have Steam handy at the moment, but if you right click on TF2, it's either on that menu, or under properties.

hey thanks for the responses, and for the alleviating of some of my worries. It fixed itself after I reloaded the game, so it must have been a connection/game error.
My system temps were normal so its not an overheating issue.
