When I look in Devise Manager, I see a yellow question mark next to RAID Controller. When I boot up I see “BIOS is not installed” in the ASUS (motherboard) initial set-up. At this point I had to reset the time / date and tell the PC that my Weatern Digital is my primary disk and and Seagate is my Slave / dump disk. When it boots and gets me to the desktop I get a message that says: “Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard: RAID If your hardware came with an installation CD, insert it now”. I am using Windows XP home and an ASUS mother board. How can load the driver for the RAID and how can I get my BIOS installed?

PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you.

Check in the Asus motherboard manual. It should spell out how to load the the RAID BIOS. If you don't need/want RAID, should be a spot in the BIOS to disable the RAID from being used.

From your description you did not intend to install a RAID set up which means that either you've got the wrong settings enabled in the bios, the bios is corrupted or you've inadvertently chosen the board's RAID Controller for your hard drive set up.
We can't tell what's going on without your full specs.
