I have a 8800 GTX, and it only has two DVI ports.
Anyway for me to hook a DVI-HDMI cable up to this and get the audio aswell?
Or a DVI-HDMI Adapter, and hook a HDMI cable into it for Audio?
As you may well know I want to hook it up to my TV (60 inch Sony Brav)
It works great through DVI-HDMI cord, but no audio. And won't be any unless I can get it through the cable.

I dont think the 8800 series has the chip to send audio over HDMI like the ATI cards do. Somebody correct me if Im wrong.

Damn, I hope so. I picked up a cheap ass 8000 series which does, :(
So I was hoping this one could do it, since it's the top notch one.
btw it's EVGA

Despite the horsepower the 8800GTX provides, its also an older card. The 8600 cards will pass audio over HDMI, but the older G80 core GTS/GTX will not.

Ok, how about this.
I have Optical out on my PC, and my TV has optical IN, so if I buy say this..http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10229&cs_id=1022901&p_id=2668&seq=1&format=4#feedback
And connect it to the out/in, and use my DVI to HDMI cord, should work right?
I know 25ft is long, but I realllly dont wanna move my PC unless I have to. lol
I prolly should though just cuz the Revolution mouse is poor on signals

Are you positive your TV has an optical in and not optical out? It wouldnt make sense to have a digital input on a TV because SPDIF is normally for 5.1 audio output, and a TV has 2 speakers. If it is an optical in, it should work fine.

doh! Yeah, now I remember it's OUT.
Damn it. :( guess using the speakers I have now won't kill. Just have to find out how to arrange it.
