I'm wondering tho if apple wont just come break it with an update. Sorta like they did with the iphone. This seems like a good alternative if you just want a Mac to experiment with.:cool:

Considering that it violates the Mac OS EULA, and updates will break it, it's probably not a terribly good idea for people who want to try out Macs. Especially since it's not really all that much cheaper than similar offerings from Apple.

A matter of opinion of course but I would say significantly cheaper than a mac.
The clincher tho is it may only work until the first update. I wonder how easy that would be tho, considering that the mac os and mac machines are now intel compatible.:eek:

You can get a Mac Mini for $600, which is less than $50 more than the PC+OS combo price from Pystar. The Pystar box is not that much cheaper.

This open computer has a 2.2GHz C@D; 2 G of RAM and a 250G HD.
Plus the Open computer is more upgradable than the mini.
