Maybe we could make a sticky for newcomers to just say hi, and we could welcome them?

That idea has been discussed extensively amongst the forum staff and I believe we decided that the General Discussions forum adequately covers that area - in other words, Gen Disc is an appropriate place to open such threads. Thanks for your suggestions though - we appreciate your input.

Ok. I was just thinking that a sticky would be better than new members each opening their own new thread.

We really don't mind how many threads are opened in General Discussion - that's what it's for!
