Has anyone here tried one of these (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.706) type of devices?
I saw mixed reviews on newegg and i was wondering if and one can tell me if these things actually work, i dont trust the reviews on some sites. Will these make my drives slower then before or will they be the same. I need these because im making a budget PC, and im reusing my drives. Because of a fsb wall on the MSI p6n which has two ide connectors im forced to get a DFI lanparty which only has 1 IDE connector.

I've never used them, but they work. It's kinda like other things as you can always get bad parts (which is why some don't like them). For that price, I'd try it; sure cheaper than a new drive... just do a backup first.
