SP3 on a mac book failing to install

I have a macbook with 31.8GB for windows xp. I am currently using 6.51GB leaving 25.3GB free. I tried updating to SP3 and I get an error that says it needs 4 more MB. So I uninstalled OOo and ran ccleaner and cleared out 500MB. I still get the error. Any Ideas? Thanks.
