I have a 20" LG lcd, I just had it replaced under warranty, the old one blacked out.

The replacement looks good, but I notice some slight ghosting with the cursor against light shaded backgrounds, but no other time. For instance, the mouse going over the title bar of a window may show a ghosting of the cursor, but nowhere else, and if I change the theme to a darker color for my windows, then there is no ghosting effect.

when the screen is black, there is a small amount of bleeding at the top and bottom.

The monitor is very usable, but these issues did not exist with the last one I had. Is this a sign of bigger problems, or just a common issue with cheaper LCDs?

Light bleed is still common and best ignored but ghosting was largely confined to games, not moving the cursor.

It's time to check your settings, monitor drivers and/or mouse drivers.
