ATI Radeon 4850 Upgrade

I'm planning to upgrade my current video card to a ATI Radeon 4850. Would this card allow me to play Crysis decently at 1280x1024 on my current setup? (In my sig) The 7600 just doesn't cut it anymore. Also, is ASUS a good brand choice for this card? Or should I go with another brand? Thanks!

EDIT:

Is there a possibility that a better card from Nvidia would come out soon for around the same price point? Or is it safe to say that this card is probably the best bang for the buck for the next few months?

Nevermind. Im just going to go ahead and get that card. hopefully it does what i want it to do. from what ive read, it should. ill let you know when i put it in.

Ok, just got it today and played Crysis. It works very well, runs on some high/very high settings around 25fps. i'm impressed
