Hey,

I've tried reading the help topics provided with vista but it doesn't provide a solution.

In vista, the shrink function is used to split the drive into a smaller partition. However, when I'm trying to shrink the 500gb hdd in windows, it will only allow me to shrink it by 3gb. I would like to split the drive by 50%, is there a workaround for this?

Thank you.

EDIT: With more digging around I found the solution. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/working-around-windows-vistas-shrink-volume-inadequacy-problems/
