I used to have vista but then found out all my games lost their FPS so i went back to XP. But now that there is a service pack that makes it better i want to go back to vista. I have the cd and case but i dont have the key. Should i email microsoft about this to get another key or is there another way to get it installed?

I know if you don't have your keys you will need to buy new ones .

Just get an OEM copy from www.newegg.com There are a few things you can do. With all respect of this site Ill leave it alone. Just e-mail cslat2407@xxxxxx.com

1life2live4, you might want to be careful posting your email addy in the open forum. There are bots on the web that do nothing but crawl around forums like this looking for email addy's. You may become the victim of MUCHO SPAMO!
Beezle Boss, was this Vista copy installed on the machine in your sig? If you have the installation DVD what happened to the case with the key? I'd suggest calling MS and see what they say before you spent any money.

What did you have Vista installed on? a branded machine or a custom build?
1life, it is not a good idea to put your email address on a public forum it will get picked up by spam bots.
