cant install vista

hey guys,

I just made a 2nd partition on my main drive, I went to go install vista everything was going smooth until I got to the part where I pick my partition to install and I get this error msg "cannot install vista on the selected partition because it does not meet the criteria" something along those lines, does any1 know how to fix this? I used NTFS to reformat the 2nd partition I had made.

How big is the partition you made?

Did you let vista delete the partion again and reformat it afterwards. I seem to remember I had to do that myself.

It was about 50gb (90gb now) I fixed it. All I did was make my partitioned hdd boot 1st that somehow fixed the problem.
