Come to the dark side Luke, use adaquate force.
An Asus that "wont" allow you to overclock?
Sorry pal, Asus and overclock are the only two words in the relm of the Asus that go together.
Be specific. Obviously, you can`t toy with the multiplier settings and therefore you must "re-adapt" the Celeron to a faster FSB.
Shut down monitoring and simply "tell" the system board your settings.
The 566 is near it`s maximum for first gen Celerons. However, Celeron2 based chips seem to fly without problem but I yet have first hand knowlege of this.
People wonder "why" I wont give up my P2B or P2BF and you now know the reasons. It does what "I" say, not what it thinks is right.
