Right I got a new mobo as last one was faulty I boot the first time and install vista. The keyboard doesnt work on startup and i think i need to get into the bios to change this but obviously with no keyboard functionality i cant. After I installed vista the first time i also set the resolution way to high and i dont know how to get it back down again since the keyboard doesnt work on startup and i cant see anything once vista has booted...any ideas?basically when a usb mouse or keyboard is plugged in the computer says on startup floppy disk failure and i cannot proceed as the keyboard has no functionality. A ps2 keyboard also doesnt work.
also specs are,
athlon x2 6000
ati 3870xt 512
4 gigs corsair xms
500gig hdd
msi k9a2 neo-f mobo

Your new motherboard is faulty, or you have incorrectly connected the headers for the front USB ports.

i have the same problem with the same mainboard >_> it came today and works finde, except the mouse // keyboard. if i plug an usb keyboard in it, it says: floppy failure or something and i need to press F1 to go on :S but i cant press f1 with no keyboard -_- cant enter Bios aswell but i found a way to install vista on it ( @ the installation of vista i plugged an us keyboard in) -.- maybe bios update? but cant install win xp, it stucks on boot so there should be no way to update it :/
