Booting problem !

I recently upgraded the 32mb Ram to a 128mb Ram on my etower 433i emachine.It was working good until lately, when i booted up the computer it did not continue like it usually does,until windows 98 appears.Instead a message saying,

Please wait while setup updates
your configuration files.
This may take a few minutes.

Windows could not upgrade file from.....

It stays in this position and will not continue to process any further.Can anyone tell what this problem is? and is there anything i can do to correct this.

I solved the problem i was having with my etower 433i emachine.So you can remove the thread that i posted.
