Hey,
So first thing is first:
One of my hard drives in my RAID0 setup shows Error Occured(0) while the other shows Member Disk(0).
Both of these drives are WDC RE2 160GB. Bios settings are Intel Controller set to RAID and GEN II forced. In the Intel Matrix Storage Console it says error, and I can right click on the drive and Mark as normal.
Anyway, is this an error with my harddrive, meaning do I need to do an RMA with WDC, or is it a RAID controller problem? I have tried resetting the array and then rebuilding it. But when I create a partion in the Administrator tools and try to mark it as active. This works, but then I try to format the drive and it fails.
I can still access both the drives when there is no RAID set up. To me, this points to RAID controller problem.
So here is the next question:
Is it possible to have 2 hard drives in XP that are essentially connected, meaning when one drive fills up it follows to the next?
Thanks for all the help. :D
